An all-original band that’s been tearing it up for over 20 years, they’re known for booze-soaked, high-octane live shows that leave venues feeling like they’ve just been hit by a barroom brawl—in the best possible way. With a brand-new singer in the mix, the band has hit a fresh stride and somehow found another gear. They’re back on stages, back in the studio, and sounding tighter, louder, and more dangerous than ever.
Gloriously unfiltered, The Vanishers write songs about heartache, muscle cars, roadkill, and drinking just a bit too much—sometimes all at once. Drawing influence from Waylon Jennings, George Jones, Merle Haggard, The Stray Cats, Living End, and Reverend Horton Heat, they blend country grit with rock ’n’ roll swagger and rockabilly bite. Featuring Dave Grodesky (vocals), Gary Kuiper (guitar/vocals), Paul McGrath (guitar/vocals), Gerry Schaefer (bass/vocals), and David Moran (drums), the band plays Gretsch guitars loud and proud and expects the crowd to keep up.
